Planning ahead: There will be no seating provided,  lawn chairs are welcome. There are no restrooms on site. Sorry for the inconvenience. Feel free to come  early and stay late to enjoy the majestic monument.

T-Shirt info --- 500 white t-shirts (design above) will be sold for $20 each at the following 5 locations on May 12th & 13th:  (all proceeds benefit the monument)

 

Albia Newspaper, Edward Jones, Farm Bureau - 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m

Albia Chamber - 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. 

The Hairport -     May 12th 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

May 13th 9:00-Noon or call 641-799-6653.

Parking info --- Please do not park in the monument parking lot or along Highway 34. Carpooling is highly recommended. Please be courteous to

everyone including the veterans, anyone handicapped, law enforcement, 
traffic control, motorcyclists, and local businesses when parking and getting to
the rally. 
BE SAFE! More info will be provided as it becomes available.

 

Donation info --- Checks may be mailed to : Welcome Home Soldier,
Peoples State Bank, 102 S Main, Albia, IA 52531. Donations and monument purchases, including adding veterans names to the wall and remaining state flags, may be made at the rally via cash, check, or card. Thank you!
